Governor-Perbakin Chairman Discuss Shooting Sports Facilities

We welcome and support

Indonesian Shooting and Hunting Association (Perbakin) Chairman, Insp. Gen. Setyo Wasisto, meets Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at City Hall. In the meeting, both discussed the needs of shooting sports' facilities and infrastructures in the capital.

Anies disclosed Jakarta Provincial Government would accommodate proposals related to the need for the provision of facilities and infrastructure, either for repair or facility provision that does not yet exist.

Jakarta KONI Insists on Improving Athlete's Performance

"We welcome and support. We'll talk again to follow up," he expressed, at City Hall, Tuesday (3/13).

He explained that facilities and infrastructure that became the focus of attention is shooting sports field and school for young athletes coaching. Thus, they are able to perform better at national and international levels.

"We want Jakarta athletes to be the best in the event PON and Asian Games," he stated.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Perbakin Chairman, Insp. Gen. Setyo Wasisto expressed his appreciation for the city's willingness to give full support.

"Thank you Mr. Governor," he told.

He who also serves as Head of Public Relations Police Headquarters added, in the upcoming September, there would be National Championship Shooting Jakarta's 35th Anniversary.

"It will be a benchmark for athletes from all over the country who will compete in the 20th PON event in Papua," he said.
